DIRECTOR OF MUSIC
Luke Leverett earned his music degree from Texas Lutheran University in 2005. He was a mediocre piano student until age 13 when he discovered the guitar, and almost immediately joined the praise band at his church and began writing his own songs. While pursuing his music degree, he took frequent gigs as a lead guitarist for country, folk, and rock groups. After college he taught guitar lessons and played in a popular regional band. After becoming a father in 2008, he began to re-focus on church music and has been directing music for LGBTQIA+ -affirming congregations since 2011. He is also releasing an increasingly steady stream of his own music, moonlighting as a lead guitarist for a country act, and raising an army of miniature dachshunds.
