CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Spirit of Joy wants to help you grow in Christ and we have many different ministries in order to help foster that growth. We offer opportunities for adults, youth, and children to grow in this discipleship of Jesus. We hope you will join us!
bible study
WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
Spirit of Joy has a women’s bible study group that meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 2:00 pm. They use the gather magazine (gather.org) as the study guide. They meet in members’ homes and take turns being hostesses and study leaders (don't worry - not a requirement to attend)!
WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
The Bible Study formerly known as the Men’s Bible Study meets every Wednesday morning at 7:00 am at El Olvido Hacienda Restaurant, 632 E. Kingsbury Street, Seguin, TX. They use The Wired Word as a jumping off point for scripture and discussion.
PASTOR'S BIBLE STUDY
Pastor Megan leads a Bible study every Wednesday at 3 pm on zoom. The group is currently studying the book of Genesis. If you are interested in participating, please contact us for a link.

confirmation
Confirmation classes are available to students in middle school. It is a three year program that focuses on the Old and New Testaments, Lutheran History, and Luther's Small Catechism. Spirit of Joy collaborates on confirmation with Emanuel’s Lutheran Church in Seguin. Classes are held once a month. There are also opportunities for summer camp and retreats throughout the year. Upon completion, each student has the opportunity to affirm their baptism. Please contact us if you are interested in being a part of our program!

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL
